About

Hi there, so I guess this is where I get to say a little blurb about myself. Well, you can call me J. I am a 21-year-old who has just graduated with two undergrad degrees in a pandemic. As our pre-recorded commencement speech said we will be remembered as “the COVID class of 2020”. I don’t know about you, but that doesn’t feel very special to me.

Anyways, back to the stuff you want to know. I initially began writing on here several years ago when I was in high school. Back then my alias was “alternate teen” but we all know that wouldn’t age well as your teenage years fly by in a blink of an eye.

Which brings me to the now, Altered Resiliency. You may think that’s a strange name for a blog but I feel it is the most fitting for who I have grown to be as a person.

My biggest purpose for writing here is to release the millions of thoughts off my brain, let others know they’re not alone, and just enjoy myself.

Thank you for taking even the slightest time out of your day to read this. If you’ve gotten this far, won’t you join me on my journey?

All that we see or seem is but a dream within a dream.

Edgar Allan Poe

The cost of liberty is less than the price of repression.

W. E. B. Du Bois

I like the night. Without the dark, we’d never see the stars.
